3 cops booked for raping minor for 2 years in Rajasthan

ALWAR: Police registered a case against 3 constables over the charge of raping an 18-year-old girl for nearly 2 years in Rajasthan's Alwar district.

Police on Saturday registered a case under Sections 376-D (gang-rape) of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act at the Raini police station based on a complaint of the survivor's mother.


Tejpal Singh, additional SP of Alwar, said, "The survivor appeared before the police, following which a case of gang-rape has been registered against 3 police personnel."
