NOIDA (UP): At least 20 people, including some policemen, were injured as police resorted to lathicharge and fired in the air to disperse a crowd which pelted stones and torched vehicles to protest the construction of a wall that they claim would cause them incovenience.
Agitated over the construction of boundary wall of 'Rajat Vihar', which blocked the entry of residents of Khoda Colony into Noida, the protestors pelted stones and set ablaze three vehicles, Senior Superintendent of Police Piyush Moradia said.

Trouble started at around noon when the construction of the wall was going on, he said adding, and police resorted to lathicharge to disperse the rampaging crowd.
Tension was prevailing in the area and police teams were patrolling the locality.
While the 'Rajat Vihar' residents want the boundary wall for their safety, the locals of Khoda Colony, which is part of Ghaziabad district, say it will cause them inconvenience.
