India again has to intervene in Bangladesh, not by choice but by compulsion. In 1971, it was it's liberation from Pakistan but now to serve its strategic interests. India needs to annexe part to the land in order to solve for ever the conundrum of troublesome Siliguri Corridor( chicken neck) In fact, this would had been taken care in 1972 agreement but, as always, Indian leadership unwisely dithered. The present hostilities against India in Bangladesh presents the opportunity to go for the kill.
