121 farmers end hunger strike as Dallewal takes medical aid

BATHINDA: The 121 protesting farmers — 111 from Punjab and 10 from Haryana — ended their fast-unto-death Sunday after Union govt agreed Saturday to hold a meeting with farmers’ forums in Chandigarh on Feb 14 to discuss their demands. The farmers had been fasting in solidarity with 70-year-old farmer-activist Jagjit Singh Dallewal, who continued his indefinite hunger strike at Khanauri on Punjab-Haryana border on its 55th day.

Dallewal, a cancer patient, has been on hunger strike since Nov 26, pressing for legal guarantees for MSP among other demands. He agreed Saturday to accept medical aid but maintained he would continue his fast-unto-death, refusing meals until the demands were met.

Farmers from Punjab began their fast on Jan 15, with those from Haryana joining on Jan 17. They had been surviving on water. The fast was broken with juice provided in the presence of Patiala range DIG Mandeep Singh Sidhu and Patiala SSP Nanak Singh.

Sidhu and Singh visited Dallewal in his chamber at Khanauri protest site to check on his health. A panel of eight senior doctors attended to him.

KMM representative Tejveer Singh expressed concern over a video uploaded by US-based Dr Swaiman Singh. His team, operating under the banner of 5 Rivers Heart Association, has been monitoring Dallewal’s health. He warned that Dallewal could not survive without food until Feb 14.

It is total failure of our both Internal and external agencies, were they not knowing that the leftist Cabal with George SOROS including LEFTY LIBERAL WICKED HINDU HATERED Supreme court which is also part of this exercise , who media and also many youtubers were aware of this conspiracy past 2 years that leftist George SOROS gang has pumped huge money equivalent to 1000 crores, what the hell the agencies were doing when raul pappu khan was touring overseas many occasions and whom this evil snake was meeting, he did not go there to eat peanuts or taste coca cola , there is huge conspiracy not alone in election standpoint but total threat to national security integrity and almost 10 nations were involved in this racket to oust Modiji and what was MHA/MEA or other agencies doing? were they not aware or they just kept it intentionally under their table or intentionally involved in hiding this and some black ship or insider was part of this conspiracy. I am extremely upset with BJP IT/IB Legal wings and of course worst of worst BJP President Nadda, even now also BJP did not take this seriously and by now they should have moved the fake narrative false propaganda to EC/SC even to president , look at the opposition how many times they went to SC even for fake cases , even they were waiting to stop election results and cancel the election results if BJP really won more than 400 or near to that and they were ready like wolfs and vultures to pile on that. Why is BJP so lackadaisical attitude and total negligence, they were in only office for 10 years , but never showed powers as expected, They have miserabley handled fake farmers protest, CAA/ Waste/Worst Bengal and totally failed, It would be late if BJP does not act seriously then they are set to loose assembly elections in Maharashtra and Haryana and UP is very very critical 2027 and once UP is gone then all lost for 2029 and I do not know how serious BJP , now RSS also ditched BJP and they played their negative roles to further damage.
