Says the actress, “Originally, the focus of the show was on the teenage Karn and the grown-up one was supposed to come in for just about a month. However, the project underwent a lot of creative changes after I signed up, which I understand is for the show’s betterment. But I am not too comfortable with the idea of playing mother to someone my age and in this case, my contemporary. I was not prepared for it mentally. Had I been playing the central character and if the show had gone in for a time leap with my kids growing up, I would have continued. But I am not even the lead. My producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary understood my bone of contention and we parted amicably. I should be shooting my last episode in the next few days.”
