'There's no time for love'
Young, dusky and beautiful, Tanushree Dutta seems to be doing everything right in order to be able to carve for herself a niche in Bollywood.
Amongst the current breed of actresses, this pretty Bengali lady is perhaps the most promising. Her roster of achievements is rather impressive.
The girl from Jamshedpur, who won the Miss India crown in 2004, and millions of hearts since then with impressive performances in films like Chocolate and Aashiq Banaya Aapne is certainly on a bit of a roll.

When asked how the journey has been so far, Tanushree Dutta says, "Wonderful. It has been an enriching journey. I love this phase of my life, and am completely satisfied with my growth as an actress.
I feel blessed that even without a mentor or godfather in the industry, I have managed to make my presence felt."
Hardly surprising given that she has many aces up her sleeve. Say Bhagambhag, and her eyes light up. It's an honour to work with a director like Priyadarshan. He can bring out the best from any artiste.
This movie is a rollicking comedy, and my costars, Akshay Kumar and Govinda, represent unmatchable comic timing."Doing comedy may seem daunting to some, but the dusky beauty exults, "Without experimentation where is the fun?

In both of my films, I have tried to be different. In Chocolate, I played a seductress while in Aashiq Banaya Aapne, I played the girl next door."Is the actress also open to taking the plunge into international projects?
I was offered a Chinese film, and I liked the script, but nothing materialised further."She is also shooting for Veerbhadra, a Telugu movie, opposite Balakrishna.
In her short career-span, Tanushree has seen her share of controversies. She has been linked with director Aaditya Datta and actor Emraan Hashmi.
But she justifies, "It's just friendship."We wondered if onscreen kissing had any ramifications for her. She promptly replied, "I don't believe in skin-show and kissing scenes, but sometimes for the projection of strong emotions such scenes are needed.
But, I will never do it just for the sake of doing it."Ask her if marriage is on the cards and pat comes the reply, "No! I am fully engrossed in my career right now. Where is the time for love or marriage?"
