Spat between mayor and MNS candidate

NAVI MUMBAI: Mayor Sagar Naik and MNS candidate for Belapur assembly constituency Gajanan Kale engaged in a verbal spat during a political talk show at Ambedkar Bhawan in Vashi on Saturday.
Kale said that Sena candidate Vijay Nahata had alleged that NCP’s Belapur candidate Ganesh Naik had taken 5% commission on the civic works sanctioned by NMMC. The mayor demanded that Kale prove the allegation.Thereafter, Kale used unparliamentary language while arguing with Naik.
Some NCP activists raised their voices and allegedly manhandled Kale. The situation was brought under control after Kale was escorted out of Ambedkar Bhawan.
