TNEA 2017: Admission counselling to begin from July 23

The counselling call letter for admissions to engineering courses through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) test has been published on the official website of TNEA - www.tnea.ac.in/tnea2017press.php

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) is the process through which more than 1.5 lakhs Engineering Aspirants get themselves enrolled into Engineering Colleges of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions through Single Window Counselling.

The candidates who have appeared for TNEA 2017 should note that the counselling session for admission to engineering courses in various colleges across the state will begin from July 23.

How to download call letters for TNEA counselling 2017:

1. Visit the official website tnea.ac.in

2. Click on - TNEA 2017: Academic Counselling Call Letter

3. Login using your registered email ID and password

4. Check and save the call letter or you can take a print out for further reference.

Anna University

The Anna University is located in in Guindy, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was named after C. N. Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It became an affiliating university in 2001, absorbing all engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu.

The main campus of Anna University extends over 185 acres adjoining the Adyar River and the Raj Bhavan in Chennai. It houses College of Engineering, Guindy, Alagappa College of Technology, School of Architecture and Planning, three technical departments of the University of Madras and another campus are located in Chrompet (Madras Institute of Technology). The university has satellite campuses in Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Madurai and Tirunelveli. The university also runs engineering colleges at Villupuram, Tindivanam, Arani and Kanchipuram in Chennai region, Erode and Bargur in Coimbatore region, Panruti, Pattukkottai, Thirukkuvalai and Ariyalur in Tiruchirapalli region, Ramanathapuram and Dindigul in Madurai region, Nagercoil and Thoothukudi in Tirunelveli region.
