The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announce Bihar Board 10th result 2022 today around 3 pm. The result was released by the Bihar education minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary on Wednesday at Vikas Bhawan in Patna. The additional chief secretary (education) Sanjay Kumar and Board chairman Anand Kishor were also present on this occasion. The overall pass percentage in intermediate exam conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board’s Matric result has slightly increased by 1.7 per cent as 79.88% of students who appeared for the exam passed this year. The overall passing percentage in matriculation examination has slightly gone up by 1.7 per cent as 79.88% of students who appeared for the exam passed this year. Last year, the pass percentage was recorded at 78.18 per cent. Of 16.11 lakh students appeared in the class X exam, 12,86,971 succeeded including 6,08,861 girls and 6,78,110 boys.

ACS Sanjay Kumar also praised the girl students and said the Board conducted a fair and impartial exam by maintaining the sanctity of the examination and become the first in the country to conduct and release the board results ahead of other states in the country.

All top three positions grabbed by girls
While declaring the results, education department minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary said that all top three positions have been secured by girls, which shows good indication. "The state has seen the shift of students from other boards including CBSE and CISCE to Bihar Board. This shift is only because of dynamic transformation in the state board and timely examination and result declaration," he said

This is the fourth consecutive year the Board has released the result in such a short duration of time. Last year, the result was announced on April 5.

Pragya Kumari of Utkramit Madhyamik School, Aurangabad has secured third rank with 97%

The second spot was bagged by Saniya Kumari, Project Girls High School, Nawada and Vivek Kumar Thakur of New Upgrade High School, Madhubani shared second rank with a score of 97.2%.

Ramayani Roy of Patel High School, Aurangabad topped the exam, securing 97.4 per cent.

Total 4,24,597 students make it to first division, 5,10,411 passed with second division, 3,47,637 with third division whereas 4326 students received compartment . Altogether 413 examinees were expelled for using unfair means while 64 persons impersonating as candidates were arrested.

Around 16,11,099 candidates appeared for Bihar Board 10th exam which was held between February 17 to 24 at 1,525 examination centres across the state, of which 12,86,971 succeeded. The practical exams for matric students was conducted from January 20 to 22
