Good start for India

Akashdeep Singh's beautiful parallel pass in to the D to Manpreet provided India with a terrific chance to score, but the German goalkeeper comes up with a good save

The players are out in the middle and it is National Anthem time

There is a definite buzz in the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium with a good crowd turning up for the encounter. India will need the home support to get past the Olympic champions and World No. 3 side Germany
