Hockey World League Final - India vs Belgium (Semi-final)
Belgium edged India 1-0 thanks to Cédric Charlier's 5th minute strike and booked a final date with world no.1 Australia on Sunday. India were sloppy for the better part of the match, leaving gaps in their defenses while their strikers weren't sharp enough to convert the few scoring opportunities that came their way. They were outplayed in all the departments and now will face the Netherlands for the bronze medal on Sunday evening.

The Great Wall of Belgium
The Belgian defence has been rock solid today. They have denied the Indian forwards entry inside their circle. In a stark contrast, the Indians have been leaving gaps which have been exploited well by their opponent. India need to alter their strategy (provided they are following one!) if they are to find their way back in this game. Belgium have been the superior team today.
