GURGAON: Nine people were arrested for creating a ruckus in and outside pubs on
MG Road on Monday night, taking the number of miscreants arrested after a 23-year-old pub employee was abducted and gang-raped to 66.
Cops said that two teams of police from Sector 29 and DLF II police stations raided city bars late on Monday night. Krishna Murari, ACP (Sadar), was also present for a surprise check.
The police team, which included women cops, searched inside some bars and asked those who were single to leave the place.
Sector 29 police and DLF-II police lodged FIRs against the nine under Section 160 IPC. All the accused were produced in a city court on Tuesday, where they were granted bail. A senior police officer said that the raid would continue.
