Narendra Modi seeks sole use of 3D till 2014!

AHMEDABAD: Did Narendra Modi hijack the idea of 3D holographic projection technology from his bête noire Keshubhai Patel? It turns out that Patel was in talks with a Dubai-based company since August to unleash a media blitzkrieg for the December elections using similar technology.
Modi is learnt to have outsmarted Patel and launched this virtual technology in the four big Gujarat cities last week.He is now negotiating with UK-based Musion and its India partners Kasu Mani Enterprises - the firm that is executing Modi's $ 10 million 3D show - for exclusive rights until 2014 as he plans to use the technology for the parliamentary polls.
"The present contract is for Gujarat elections," said Kasu Reddy of Kasu Mani Enterprises. His partner, Mani Shankar, refused to comment if Modi has asked for exclusive rights for the projection. "We are open to give sector-specific exclusive rights to those who seek," said Shankar.
The duo is now exploring legal options against Dubai-based Mehirr Nath Chopra, who had sent the proposal to Patel, for operating in the space.
"Musion has seven related patents in its name. We will send a legal notice to Chopra to know if he is using Musion technology or a similar one," said Reddy.
When contacted, Dubai-based Chopra claimed that he has Uwe Maass, inventor of the high definition video projection system, as his partner and is in final stages of discussion for providing the holographic projection to Patel.
