Indian cricketer and Mumbai Indians' captain Rohit Sharma's fiancée is a renowned named in the world of cricketer. Ritika is a sports manager who has a list of cricketers she handles and Rohit Sharma is one of them. Before the two decided to make things official, both Rohit and Ritika were very good friends for the past six years. The much in love couple have publicly professed their love on social platforms. Ritika, 28, has been a friend to Rohit Sharma on and off the cricket field, calling him her 'main man' and the 'best person' she knows. Recently, Rohit turned 30 and Ritika posted a cute picture of the couple on Twitter stating, “Happy birthday to my main man and the best person I know. Happy Birthday Ro #RaiseTheRoof @rohitsharma45.” [sic]

Rohit chose to propose to his lady love in a unique way, different from the traditional and over the top methods. The Mumbai Indians skipper drove his 28 year old fiancée Ritika from her Cuffe Parade residence in Mumbai to the Borivali Sports Club. There was a special reason for him to do so. According to a report on Dna.india.com, this was the ground where Rohit first played at the age of 11, and hence he chose to take Ritika there to propose to her as it held a special place for him. Further to reports, Rohit then popped the question post midnight by giving her a solitaire ring and said the magical words. Sharma was in his home town for Mumbai Indians’ match against Rajasthan Royals and he took this opportunity to ask his lady love for her hand.

Ritika, who is related to celebrity manager Bunty Sajdeh, doesn't seem to have any qualms about talking openly about Rohit Sharma. Post the proposal, Ritika took to Instagram and posted a picture of the two with Ritika flashing her engagement ring with the caption, "My happily ever after." On his birthday too, Ritika put another picture of the couple with the message, "Happy birthday to my main man and the best person I know. Happy Birthday Ro #RaiseTheRoof."

Yesterday, with Mumbai Indians winning the match against Kings XI Punjab, the MI skipper dedicated his win to Ritika. He took to Twitter to post, "This win is for you fiancée @ritssajdeh." In fact, when the duo got engaged, he once again tweeted, "From best friends to soulmates, couldn't get any better @ritssajdeh." [sic]
