Harbhajan recently met PM Narendra Modi and invited him for his reception which is on 1st of Nov. Harbhajan was seen holding his wedding invitation card, standing next to the PM, in a picture that surfaced online.

He has booked 200 rooms of a five-star resort in his hometown, Jalandhar, for his marriage on October 29 and reserved rooms in other plush facilities, including Taj Palace and ITC, in the capital for the subsequent party. Designer, Archana Kochchar, has been handed the onerous task of making Geeta's outfits, while Bhajji will be dressed up by noted men's designer, Raghavendra Rathore. Fellow sardar, Mika Singh, who has lent his voice to a host of chart-busting numbers in recent times, has agreed to grace the sangeet ceremony which will have a number of movie stars apart from a clutch of cricketers, reports Mumbaimirror.com.

Geeta Basra- Harbhajan not getting married in Oct?


We recently got the news that actress Geeta Basra and Harbhajan Singh had finally decided to tie the knot on Oct 29, 2015 in Delhi. However, a source close to Harbhajan has denied the news, as per a report in Mumbai Mirror. The source said, "Harbhajan and his family have not set a date yet and have not even booked a venue.Even the wedding cards have not been printed. He also has another cricket series coming up on November 2. It could happen in December or next year.Nothing is finalised yet."

Cricketer Harbhajan Singh is all set to get married to his girlfriend, actress Geeta Basra. According to a report in Hindustan Times, the marriage rituals will take place at Phagwara, 20 kilometres from Jalandhar. The marriage might happen sometime in October this year though the date is not yet confirmed. Apparently Harbhajan is waiting for confirmation on a match against South Africa. Once that is confirmed, they might finalize the marriage date. Several movie stars and cricketers are expected to attend the wedding.

The release date of Geeta Basra's upcoming film, Second Hand Husband, coincides with the birthday of her alleged boyfriend, Harbhajan Singh. According to a Bombay Times report, there will be joint celebrations since Bhajji, who has just made his comeback to Test cricket, will be present for the film's special screening in Mumbai. A source has been quoted in the report as saying that, Geeta goes and watches his matches, and likewise, he will be there to support her. Geeta has also been quoted in the report as saying that while Harbhajan is not a film buff like her, he will be there as it would mean a lot to her and that it will be special. She further reasons that since the film is a comedy, she is hoping that he will have a good time. The actress plans to head home to London post that. She has further added that usually Bhajji and she go there for their annual holidays but since he will be training in India, he won't be able to make it. She says that she is heading there as her best friend has delivered a baby and she wishes to catch up with her. However, the actress continues to be tight-lipped about the couple's marriage plans.
