2023 is almost over and ahead of that Swiggy has revealed the order trends of the year on its quick commerce platform, Instamart. According to the report, people ordered almost everything from vegetables, snacks to beverages and health products using the platform. But, there was one snack that stood out from the crowd to become the most popular items on the platform.

Most popular snack on Instamart is a superfood

When it comes to ordering snacks, Delhi was at the top where a single order included a whooping 99 items and majority of the order was Chips, chocolates and cookies. However, there was one snack that was ordered more than anything else on the platform.

The snack we are talking about is makhana.

People in 2023 became slightly more health conscious when it comes to snacking and makhana took centre stage. Makhana stole the snack spotlight with an impressive 1.3 million orders.

Makhana being a superfood, it comes with lots of nutritions and is a solid healthy alternative for chips, namkeen and other types of snacks. However, there are a couple of other interesting facts Swiggy Instamart’s trend has revealed.
