Realme 3 with MediaTek Helio P70 and 4230mAh battery launched, price starts at Rs 8,999
Chinese smartphone maker Realme has launched its next handset Realme 3 in the Indian market at a price tag of Rs 8,999 for 3GB + 32GB variant and Rs 10,999 for 4GB + 64GB variant. Realme 3 has been launched in three colour variants: Black, Dynamic Black and Radiant Blue. While Black is for people who just want a Realme phone in plain black colour, the other two are gradient back designs. Dynamic Black comes with a blend of black and purple on the back while Radiant Blue has got a dual colour scheme of dark blue and turquoise on the back. The phone will be made available on Flipkart from March 12.
Realme 3 specifications
Powered by a 12 nm 2.1Ghz octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor, Realme 3 runs ColorOS v6.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie and has been unveiled in two RAM and internal storage options: 3GB+32GB and 4GB+64GB. The storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD. The phone houses a big 4230mAh battery. Realme 3 does not come with fast charging support.
Realme 3 features a 6.2 inch (15.8 cm) HD+ display with a screen-to-body ratio of 88.30 percent and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The screen resolution is 1520 x 720 pixels. The display has been given a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone also comes in a new unibody design, unlike the previous Realme phones like Realme 2 and Realme 2 Pro that had a sandwich design.
For imaging duties, the phone comes equipped with a dual rear camera setup of 13MP+2MP with f/1.8 aperture. The various features for improving the image quality that have been provided are PDAF Fast Focusing, 5P Lens, Hybrid HDR and Portrait Mode. New modes like Nightscape and Chroma Boost have also been added for the first time to a Realme phone.
For selfies, there is a 13MP AI camera at the front with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera also comes with several features including AI Beautification, HDR and AI Facial Unlock.
Realme 3 can shoot videos in 720p and 1080p at 30fp. It can also do 720p Slo-Mo recording at 90fps.
