Pokemon Go players are soon to get a new feature in the game called Go Snapshot. The new feature will allow players to take pictures of any Pokemon.
As announced by Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go game, this will bring new life to the game. Also, the company said that this feature is inspired by the photos taken by the players using the AR+ feature of the game.
The Go Snapshot feature is currently not available in the game and will be made available via a future update. Players can find the feature either when looking at a specific platform or by accessing the camera in a bag of items.
How to use Go Snapshot feature
In order to capture a photo of Pokemon, players have to select a Pokemon character and tap on the screen to aim and throw the Poke Ball to that spot. After Pokemon is at its ideal spot, drag around to adjust the best angle for the photo. Also, if a Pokemon is not looking at you or distracted, then brush at the screen to make it look towards you or the camera.
Players can click as many pictures that want and once they are finished all the photos will automatically get saved in the phone’s gallery. The Go Snapshot feature will also allow players to quickly share their photos to their friends and family via social media. All they have to do is tap on the linked social media and share.
For those unaware, Niantic added the AR+ photo feature back in 2017, that enabled players to capture AR photos of Pokemons they found in the game.
