India was the most targeted country by cyberattacks in 2023. Last year India faced 13.7% of all cyber attacks globally. The US took the second spot by facing 9.6% of all cybercrimes committed worldwide. As per the data by the European Repository of Cyber Incidents (EuRepoC), 2,506 politically motivated cyber attacks were recorded worldwide between 2000 and 2023. Some 679 known cyber criminals or groups reportedly conducted these cyberattacks.
