Motorola has recently unveiled a price reduction for its budget-friendly smartphone, the Moto G54 5G, initially launched in September 2023. Simultaneously, the company introduced another smartphone in the same month, known as the Moto G84 5G. Presently, the Lenovo-owned smartphone brand has also lowered the price of its mid-range device, the Moto G84. Running on the Android 13 operating system, it is anticipated to receive an upgrade to Android 14 in the near future. The phone boasts a Full HD+ display and is powered by a Qualcomm chipset. Additionally, it is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery.

New price

The company launched the Moto G84 smartphone in India in September last year at Rs 19,999. The smartphone has received a price cut of Rs 1,000 and customers can now purchase the smartphone at Rs 18,999. The Moto G84 comes in three colour options — Blue Marshmallow, Midnight Blue and Viva Magenta. The company is also offering a 10% instant discount on Bank of Baroda card.

Moto G84 specifications

Moto G84 sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution. The pOLED display of the smartphone offers 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1300 nits of peak brightness.


The mid-range Motorola smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. The smartphone packs 256GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.

The dual SIM Moto G84 runs Android 13 operating system topped with the company's own My UX. The smartphone sports a dual rear camera with 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 8MP secondary camera. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone also features a 16MP front camera.

Moto G84 comes with IP54 rating which makes it resistant to water and it is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
