Moto Edge+ with 108MP camera, 12GB RAM launched at Rs 74,999

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Motorola has launched its latest flagship smartphone Moto Edge+ in India. It is the first smartphone of the company to come with an 108MP camera.

The company has priced Moto Edge+ at Rs 74,999. The smartphone will be up for pre-booking starting today on Flipkart and offline retail stores in the country. The sales of Moto Edge+ will start on May 26. As part of the launch offers, customers can get an instant discount of Rs 7,500 on ICICI Bank credit card.

Moto Edge+ specifications
The main highlight of Moto Edge+ is its camera and processor. The smartphone sports a triple-camera setup with a 108MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, Laser autofocus, 16MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, macro mode, 8MP telephoto camera. In the front users will get a 25MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The company claims that the smartphone is capable of 6K video recording.

The Moto Edge+ is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with 12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system. The device also features stereo speakers tuned by Waves which promises to offer 60% louder audio.

The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging support. The smartphone also supports reverse wireless charging.

The smartphone also comes with an IP52 rating which makes the device water repellent. On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers 5G, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and US Type C.

The company has also confirmed that the Moto Edge+ will get at least two future Android OS updates. This means that the Moto Edge+ will get Android 11 and Android 12 updates.
