Here's what Indians watched most on YouTube in 2018

Internet search giant Google-owned video-sharing platform YouTube has released its annual YouTube Rewind list. The list includes top trending videos (global as well as in India), top trending music videos in India and top viewed ads in India.

In their research in India, according to YouTube, many people used the platform to "learn how to do something" including day to day questions -- how to tie a tie -- to bigger ones -- how to be an Indian fashion designer. "This year we saw India learn a great deal -- from new dance moves to many unique things like Dairy Farming, Magic and Painting; and much more," said YouTube in a statement.

Talking about their growth in 2018, YouTube said that it crossed several milestones such as 300 channels crossing 1 million subscribers, three creators crossing the 10 million subscriber mark and T-Series surpassing the 50 million subscribers.
