The Centre has reiterated that India’s fuel supply is secure and operating without disruption, assuring citizens that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, or LPG nationwide. The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas confirmed that supply chains are stable and closely monitored to meet demand efficiently. It also raised concerns over false information being circulated to trigger panic among the public. Addressing recent rumours, the government clarified that there have been no changes to LPG refill booking timelines, calling such reports misleading. Officials stressed that all services continue as per existing norms, ensuring uninterrupted availability of essential fuel resources across the country.
