Prathap (Partha), hailing from a poor agricultural family is the topper in his district. His parents wish that he does well in life and hence he travels to the city to pursue his higher studies.
Prathap, fondly called as Pachhi by his friends, continues to be studious in college. The typical good boy that he is, he fights for Kannada language, injustice meted against people and even gets a job for his friend by fighting corruption. Meanwhile, the protagonist falls in love with a girl. When everything is hunky-dory in their life, an unexpected tragedy strikes and Prathap’s love life takes a dip. This incident opens up another love story in the sub plot.
With a cliched story line, Keerthigobba 2 falls flat. The age old story lacks a fresh approach and doesn't invoke any interest. The story drags for more than two hours making it a tedious watch. Even the songs will leave you disappointed. Watch it only if you are fan of conventional love stories.
