Kanthri Boys Movie Review

Sundar is the stud in his village. He believes that he can solve any problem and charm any woman. This film follows his different misadventures in his village with all the caricature-like characters who live there.

This is yet another village story that has one of the Thithi characters in the lead. And like the rest of the other films, it is filled with innuendo and rather unpalatable scenes. The film just seems like a string of gags that are together, with hardly a strong story tying it all together.

The film has only one thing for sure, how Sundar is the ladies' man. The film sees him talk to different women and win them over in his own style. Though, of course, the dialogues for these scenes are so old and hackneyed that one needs a little patience to sit through the entire film.

The film has the love story of Gowra and Sundar as its crux, but there is nothing more. The silly jokes, vulgar dialogues and rather crude scenes don't quite add up to the plot. The film is purely meant for those who want to enjoy films that have rather crass dialogues and savor humor that isn't the most polished. Watch it at your own risk.
