Jessica Alba has been dishing out wellness lessons, even before it was a thing! From her ‘Dark Angel’ days to entrepreneurship, she has practically worn wellness as her second name. She started by asking the right questions. What's actually in this product? Is it safe for my baby? How ‘natural’ is this natural product? These questions are indeed what changed the idea of wellness for her.

So what can the rest of us learn from her? Quite a lot. From how she approaches her diet to workouts, Jessica Alba’s wellness journey is less about perfection and more about paying attention. Here are some wellness lessons Jessica Alba swears by.

Wellness for the right reasons

For Jessica Alba, taking care of her health is not about chasing trends or setting unrealistic standards. Her focus is on feeling energized and being at her best. “As I’ve gotten older and after I became a mom, it became more of a priority to be healthy for the right reasons. It’s more important to have a balanced approach instead of trying to be perfect,” She told People magazine.

That’s not a balanced way to go about it,” she told People.
She even cooks her own pizza! "One of our favorite ways to entertain is to throw a pizza party. We have a pizza oven in our backyard, so one of our most fun Saturday projects is heating it up (it takes all day) and then going to town with lots of personal-size pizzas and toppings, which enable each guest to top his or her own. Kids love it, but you can also do very elegant topping combinations to please even the pickiest grown-up palate,” she told Women’s Health earlier.
