You can now get married at Disney's very spooky Haunted Mansion
Ever dreamed of saying “I do” in a Disney fairytale, but with a spooky twist? Well, couples can now exchange vows right on the steps of the iconic Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, and yes, it’s as thrilling (and slightly eerie) as it sounds.
This summer, Disney is opening the doors of the mansion for weddings for the very first time. Imagine tying the knot surrounded by ghostly grandeur, soaring columns, and the mansion’s famously haunted charm. Intimate ceremonies are the order of the day - couples can bring up to 25 guests (not counting themselves) for this unforgettable experience.
The Haunted Mansion itself has been revamped recently. Originally opened in 1969, it got a major facelift and reopened in January 2025. The gardens now tell a more detailed story, a greenhouse has been added for waiting guests, and even the infamous floating bride has gotten an upgrade - now hovering with a three-pronged candelabra thanks to projector effects that give her a creepier, more cinematic glow.
Of course, this enchanting, slightly eerie experience comes at a price. The Haunted Mansion wedding package costs between ₹20 lakh and ₹32 lakh ($25,000–$40,000). Disney’s Wedding Sales Manager helps couples pick the perfect time, date, and spot, and once the paperwork is signed, a personal Wedding Event Planner steps in to make the day run flawlessly.
For those who don’t want to wait, a Haunted Mansion-style wedding will also be offered starting May 2026, and adventurous couples can even take the spooky vows to sea on the Disney Destiny cruise ship, hosting the ceremony in the Haunted Mansion Parlor.
This unique offering is part of Disney’s 35-year celebration of Fairytale Weddings and Honeymoons, and the company promises a series of “surprise announcements” every week in February.
So, if a touch of ghostly glamour, Disney magic, and a wedding that will make your friends gasp in awe is your dream, it looks like your spooky fairytale just came true.
How to have a wedding at Haunted Mansion
The weddings have to happen before the park officially opens - so, think early mornings, like 8 a.m. on July 1. The package includes an officiant, transportation to and from Disneyland Resort hotels, light décor, and professional photography. And yes, a sprinkle of Disney magic is mandatory, though the specifics (and extra costs) are still under wraps. The Haunted Mansion itself has been revamped recently.
