The Taj Mahal often sees famous visitors, but this time it was a royal presence that caught attention online. Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya of Thailand recently visited the breathtakingly beautiful monument in Agra, and a photo from the day has now started circulating on social media.

The picture was shared on Instagram by Indian private tour guide Nitin Singh. In the photo, the princess is seen sitting with the Taj Mahal in the background, while he sits beside her. Calling it an “absolute honour,” Nitin wrote that heritage has a way of bringing people from different countries together. The post soon started gaining attention online.

According to a report by the Hindustan Times, she is the only daughter of Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn and his former consort, Sujarinee Vivacharawongse. While she is part of the Thai royal family, she is also known for her work outside royal life.

Princess Sirivannavari runs her own luxury fashion label called Sirivannavari, which has earned recognition internationally. She also holds the rank of Major in the Royal Thai Army. Apart from that, she has a strong interest in sports and the arts, according to the report. She is an accomplished equestrian and is known to enjoy poetry and badminton.

According to the report, her visit to the Taj Mahal was part of her ongoing India tour. She is in the country as a state guest of the Uttar Pradesh government. Before reaching Agra, she had spent time in Rajasthan.

During her Rajasthan visit, she toured well-known landmarks including Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Palace, and Tripolia Bazaar in Jaipur and Jodhpur. After that, she travelled to Agra, where she visited both the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. Reports mentioned that security arrangements were tight, with Thai security teams coordinating with local authorities.

Royal visits are usually formal affairs, but sometimes a single photograph becomes the highlight. In this case, the photo from the Taj Mahal gave people a simple look at her visit and quickly made many curious online.
