What were Steve Jobs' last words before death? Did he indicate towards 'afterlife' with his famous phrase
Steve Jobs, the guy who put computers in our pockets and zen into tech, left us with a simple, haunting trio just before slipping away in 2011.
Millions of people across the globe take him to be their inspiration, and wish to follow the outstanding legacy, mindset, and beliefs that he left behind.
His last words carry weight, like a mic drop moment from life's stage, leaving us to decode the encore.
Over a decade later, people still wonder about the meaning of his last words, if it was awe at the afterlife? Peace after the fight? Or just a genius signing off mysteriously?
Simpson described his tone by saying: "His tone was affectionate, dear, loving, but like someone whose luggage was already strapped onto the vehicle, who was already on the beginning of his journey, even as he was sorry, truly deeply sorry, to be leaving us."
She observed his familiar determination lingered, noting "Death didn't happen to Steve, he achieved it." Earlier, Jobs had gazed at his family - sister Patty, kids, wife Laurene with a sense of wonder, as Simpson described: "With that will... there was also sweet Steve's capacity for wonderment, the artist's belief in the ideal."
What sparked his repeated "Oh wow" remains a mystery, perhaps a glimpse beyond, a life review, or simple peace.

The famous last words
Jobs' sister Mona Simpson shared in her New York Times eulogy in 2011. Jobs' final words were "OH WOW. OH WOW. OH WOW.” He'd gazed long at sister Patty, his children, partner Laurene Powell Jobs, then "over their shoulders past them."What did Jobs see in those moments?
When his sister Mona Simpson arrived, Jobs had grown silent. He stared into his children's eyes, "as if he couldn’t unlock his gaze," holding the look steadily. He made it through the night but weakened further; by morning, Simpson recalled in the interview, "His breath indicated an arduous journey, some steep path, altitude. He seemed to be climbing."She observed his familiar determination lingered, noting "Death didn't happen to Steve, he achieved it." Steve Jobs legacy in brief
Steve Jobs, born in 1955 in San Francisco, co-founded Apple and ignited the personal computing boom with the 1984 Macintosh. His 2007 iPhone completely changed communication, combining tech intuition with Zen Buddhism influences. Diagnosed in 2003 with a rare pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor, a form of slow-progressing cancer, he fought eight years via alternative and conventional treatments. He resigned as CEO six weeks before dying on October 5, 2011, at 56 from respiratory arrest at his Palo Alto home.end of article
