With Williamson's fall at 81, New Zealand's hopes of turning the game on a tough batting pitch began to evaporate. Kohli's high spirits were in full swing as he sprinted to Axar, touched his feet in a gesture of gratitude but playfulness, and celebrated the important breakthrough which more or less sealed India's victory in their last group-stage encounter.
