In Bengaluru, an auto-rickshaw driver and his faithful dog, Jackie, have become a social media sensation where Jackie has been with the driver since he was four days old, and since then, they have never been apart. Each day, Jackie travels with his owner, amid the scenes and sounds of the busy city.
A photograph posted by a Bengaluru traveller captures this special pair in transit, which shows the driver busy with his phone and Jackie taking the view of street scenes, looking utterly relaxed. The photo in the post was shot in a hurry, drawing more than 45,000 views and overwhelming the comments page with praise for both the human and the pet. The caption of the X post is as follows:
“My auto wale bhaiyya has his dog (the name is Jackie) with him in the auto; this kid has been with him from when he was 4 days old and now they travel together everywhere. Does this call for a @PeakBangalore moment??”
