US ICE agent shoots mother of 3: Who is Clyde Emmons, the man behind the cryptic viral post calling the woman 'a domestic terrorist'

The tragic shooting of 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis has triggered widespread protests across the United States and drawn criticism toward the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

What exactly happened

On January 7, a 37-year-old US citizen and mother of three, Renee Nicole Good, was shot and killed by ICE agent Jonathan Ross during an immigration enforcement operation in south Minneapolis. Video footage shows Good in her SUV when agents approached; she began driving forward slowly as Ross fired multiple shots through the windshield, leading to her death at a hospital.

Her death led to national outrage and protests, with a family fundraiser raising over $1.5 million before closing.

Who is Clyde Emmons?

Clyde Emmons, identified as being from Mount Forest, Michigan, created a GoFundMe fundraiser titled “ICE OFFICER Jonathan Ross” shortly afterward, seeking around $800,000 to support the agent. He wrote on the page, “After seeing all the media bs about a domestic terrorist getting GoFundMe, I feel that the officer who was 1000 percent justified in the shooting deserves to have a GoFundMe. Funds will go to help him,” describing Good as a “domestic terrorist,” meaning a perpetrator who acts against their own country and fellow citizens.



Emmons stated he doesn’t know Ross personally and acted after seeing media coverage, later updating, “Contact has been made and arrangements are being put into place to transfer the funds as the officer wishes. One step closer.” The campaign has raised significant funds amid debates over GoFundMe’s terms.

Emmons’ controversial Facebook post goes viral

Emmons allegedly shared the GoFundMe link on Facebook with harsh words: “The stupid c---s want to make a GoFundMe for the s----d b---h that got what she deserved; I made one for the ICE officer that did his job. Let’s get this man some money.”

A screenshot went viral online, though its authenticity remains unverified as the specific page couldn’t be located. This post amplified backlash, with many labeling Emmons’ language as offensive and criticising his support for Ross.
