‘Tacky Decorations’: Trump’s new ‘The Rose Garden’ sign triggers online outrage, Gavin Newsom chimes in
Considering Trump's former real estate career and admission of construction as his 'second job', his massive renovation of White House exteriors should not be much of a surprise anymore. However, the President seems adamant on terming every location and adding plaques to each corner, a move that many abhor.
From the Presidential Walk of Fame to the Rose Garden, he has completely transformed some of the most famous areas of the White House, making it look more and more similar to Mar-a-Lago. However, the netizens have much to say about his recent addition to the residence.
It, of course, matches the Trump theme of shining gold that is a signature for all the other outdoor signs installed recently in the West Wing. The sign sits in front of the gold and decorated 'Presidential Walk of Fame,' which the President installed as a politically charged and personally worded tribute to his predecessors.
"Dear God. It just keeps getting worse. In barely a year, the White House has gone from subtle and classy to full-blown cringe and tacky," wrote a social media user on X.
"You know it's a classy joint when you have cursive signage on every historical spot, telling you where you are," wrote journalist Sam Stein on X.
"I can’t believe how tacky that man is." added another X user.
"God, that all looks so gaudy. Especially all the “Walk of Fame” stuff. The gold adornments and lettering," added one.
The phrase took a jab at Trump's alleged ties to the infamous sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, which he has consistently denied.
As for the signs, this isn't the first one and considering the time left for the midterm elections to arrive, it might not be the last.
'The Rose Garden' sign
In his most recent move, the 79-year-old world leader affixed a cursive lettered sign just feet above the famous rose bushes, reading, 'The Rose Garden'. Netizens enraged over Rose Garden sign
From journalists to civilians and even Trump nemesis, none have left the chance to voice out just how much they detest the new addition."Dear God. It just keeps getting worse. Newsom strikes back

Responding to the latest update, Newsom shared his own edited version of the sign, rebranding it as 'The Pedo Garden'.The phrase took a jab at Trump's alleged ties to the infamous sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, which he has consistently denied.
