The Elon Musk version is just one example. Other robots in the project feature faces of Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso and even Beeple himself, as reported by News18.

Linked to upcoming exhibition

The robots were brought onto the streets as part of a promotional activity for Beeple’s upcoming exhibition “INFINITE_LOOP” at a digital art centre in Palo Alto, as reported the New York Post.

The aim was to bring art closer to people in everyday spaces. As one representative said, “It stops people in their tracks and gets them talking."
