Bali police are yet to release new information on the arrest of Bonnie Blue, a controversial OnlyFans model. The adult star was arrested on Friday, Dec. 5, with 17 male tourists on suspicion of violating the country’s strict anti-pornography laws, and she is likely to face deportation.
Arrest over violation of anti-pornography laws
The local police detained Blue, 26, and 17 male tourists aged between 19 and 40, on suspicion of producing X-rated content. Of the tourists, 15 were Australians who have since been released. The police confiscated professional video cameras, a large quantity of contraceptives and erectile drugs, and a blue utility vehicle branded “Bonnie Blue’s BangBus” during the raid on a studio in Badung. Additionally, the police collected content from Blue’s Instagram account, where she allegedly solicited adult schoolies (18 and over) to participate in pornographic activities, as evidence.
Prosecution or deportation
According to News.com.au, Blue is likely to face the possibility of up to 15 years in an Indonesian prison and fines of up to 6 billion rupiah (approximately $541,000) if prosecuted and found guilty under the law. However, legal experts say a different outcome is far more likely: deportation.
Philo Dellano, a managing partner at PNB Immigration, a law firm in Jakarta, told the outlet that Blue will probably be deported and banned from returning to Indonesia, instead of facing prosecution and imprisonment. “She is being detained by the police, which means they can proceed to prosecute her. But in my opinion, if there is an ‘invisible hand’ that requests that she be deported, she can be transferred to the nearest immigration office, from where she will be deported from Indonesia,” Dellano said.
“You know this type of industry [pornography]: there is always someone or an organisation that controls it to make a profit, so it may not be straightforward for her to be prosecuted in Indonesia,” the lawyer added. “Perhaps that is the reason she came here in the first place?”
“This is not the first case in Bali where foreigners have been accused of creating pornographic content, and the outcome in each case has depended on the strength of the ‘invisible hand’ behind the foreigners,” Dellano added.

Bonnie Blue, whose real name is Tia Billinger, is a controversial adult star known for her infamous ‘Schoolies’ stunt. The event involved her engaging in sexual acts with ‘barely legal’ young men and filming it for an adult subscription platform. Despite being labelled ‘predatory’, the adult creator argues that her actions are consensual and that she implements strict protocols to ensure consent, which include multiple consent forms, physical identification, and a breathalyser test before taking part. “They chose to contact me, gave consent, and allowed me to film. Consent is thoroughly discussed throughout the process, and I ensure all boundaries are respected,” she has earlier said. Bonnie gained fame for engaging in sexual acts with 1,057 men in 12 hours in a documentary about her career.
