In a wedding advertisement that's nothing short of hilarious, the bride, named Riya, is on the hunt for what she calls a "reel partner". This kind of matrimonial ad might be unusual, but it's not uncommon in India, where ads can sometimes get downright peculiar. Some ads even get into specifics about what they want in a groom, such as education, job, religion, and even height and weight.

However, Riya, our aspiring bride, is breaking the mould. She's looking for a groom who's not just comfortable with the camera but is also socially savvy. Riya needs someone who can not only assist her in creating "relationship" reels but is also confident in front of the lens.

Social media influencers these days go to great lengths to gain followers, whether it's by paying a fortune to boost their follower count or, as in this case, using eye-catching newspaper ads. This particular ad in an Indian English daily has left the internet in stitches, as it reveals how a social media influencer is on the hunt for a content creator groom who can help her make reels.

The ad specifies that Riya is in search of a "suitable reel partner" and a groom. This potential partner is also expected to be skilled in creating content related to trending music like "Moi moi."

The viral ad reads, "Social media influencer looking for a groom. My name is Riya, and I'm looking for a suitable reel partner + groom. The guy should not be camera-shy and should be willing to create relationship reels with me. He should know how to come up with content around trending music like ‘MOI-MOI’. Also, he should not be from a joint family. Before reaching out, please watch Amazon miniTV’s 'Half Love Half Arranged' to understand what kind of guys I DON'T LIKE."

Riya also mentions that the ideal guy should be proficient in Premiere Pro and capable of editing vlogs and reels. She provides her email address for "interested candidates" to get in touch.

The post was shared by a user named "Aayushi Gupta" with the comment, "probably the WILDEST matrimonial ad ever." Another user humorously remarked, "She is not searching for a groom but an unpaid laborer."

Since being posted on October 27, the ad has garnered more than a million views, along with thousands of likes and comments, with many people finding amusement in the ad's absurdity.
