IAS officers, Tina Dabi and Pradeep Gawande welcome baby boy

IAS Officer Tina Dabi made headlines in 2015, when she became the first ever woman from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) community to achieve the remarkable feat of securing All India Rank 1 in the Civil Services examination.

The Lady Shri Ram College alumni achieved it in her first attempt and went on to secure accolades in LBSNAA as well.

Dabi is now trending again as she broke the news of welcoming her first child, a baby boy, with husband and fellow IAS officer, Dr. Pradeep Gawande, a 2013 batch officer.

After her split with former husband Athar Amir Khan, IAS officer, 2015 batch, in August 2021, Dabi tied the knot with Dr. Gawande in April 2022 and the duo have now welcomed their first child over a year later.

Tina Dabi’s sister, Ria Dabi, who is also an IAS officer, had uploaded an image on her Instagram account a week ago where she mentioned the occasion of the picture as “Tina’s baby shower”.
