“I cannot welcome you to the family…” Internet reacts to Sara Tendulkar’s speech for bhabhi Saaniya Chandhok
A touching moment from the wedding celebrations of Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok is gaining attention on social media after Sara Tendulkar shared a video from the reception in which she delivers an emotional message for her new sister-in-law.
Sara Tendulkar shared the video on Instagram along with a few emoticons. In the clip, she is seen standing on stage in a lehenga while addressing Saaniya Chandhok in front of family and guests.
While welcoming her bhabhi, Sara said, “Saaniya, you are the sister I always wanted but never had.”
She added that their relationship already feels natural and close. “Truly more like a sister to me than a sister-in-law.”
She said, “Like my mother said, I cannot welcome you to the family because you have already been a part of this family for so many years.”
She added “I am sure your transition is gonna be extremely smooth because everybody loves you and showers you with all the affection in the world.”
Sara also spoke about her bond with her brother. She said, “As I said at your engagement, my brother is my whole entire heart.”
She then turned to Saaniya and added, “And now, my heart belongs to you, Saaniya. So please look after him, love him, cherish him, take care of him, and I am sure he will do the same for you.”
She ended her speech with warm wishes for the couple. “I love you both. I wish you all the love, abundance, happiness, and everything in the world.”
Along with the video, Sara also shared several pictures from the wedding functions, including moments of Arjun Tendulkar and Saaniya Chandhok posing together, a warm hug with Saaniya, her dancing with friends and family, and Sachin Tendulkar speaking at the event.
