Meet Biki Nandi

His journey began in 2021 when Biki Nandi, a security guard based in Chennai, started his role with a monthly salary of ₹13,000. His progression was methodical rather than extraordinary, by the following year, his earnings had risen to ₹15,000, and by 2023, he reached ₹18,000. Throughout this period, Nandi regularly shared updates via Instagram, visually documenting his growth while wearing his security uniform at various workplaces.



His salary picked up pace in the recent years
The pace of his salary growth quickened in recent years, showing the rewards of his consistent efforts. In 2024, Nandi’s monthly income saw a more significant jump to ₹24,000, followed by an increase to ₹26,000 in 2025.



Most recently, in 2026, he reached a monthly salary of ₹32,000. According to the caption of his viral Instagram Reel, he noted, “Chennai right now salary 32k,” a simple update that has now garnered over 3 million views in just two days.
