England cricketer Danielle Wyatt announced her engagement to long-time girlfriend, Georgie Hodge on Thursday in a very romantic manner on Thursday.
The 31-year-old batter got engaged in South Africa to her long-time girlfriend Georgie who is a football agent. Georgie is also the head of women’s football at CAA Base—an agency dedicated to nurturing the careers of footballers.
Danielle took to social media to share the picture of their engagement. In the picture, they are seen kissing while Georgie is seen flaunting a beautiful engagement ring. Danielle captioned the post as “Mine forever.’

Love started pouring on them from across the world as fellow cricketers began congratulating them. Indian cricketers Harleen Deol and Shafali Verma congratulated the pair as well.
Danielle had become a popular name in India after she expressed her desire to marry Virat Kohli in 2014! In the early days of her career, she jokingly tweeted her proposal to Virat and it was later dismissed as a joke.
Danielle Wyatt was a part of the England cricket team which made it to the semi-final of the 2023 Women’s T20 World Cup.
