Elon Musk's ‘Omega’ necklace takes centre stage at UFC event! What does it signify?

If there’s another aspect where Elon Musk excels at, other than technology, it indeed is the field of controversy! The tech mogul is almost relentless when it comes to fuel and fan controversies – whether by his statements and endorsements or by his choice of accessories.

Elon Musk is on the spree of his public appearances alongside President-elect Donald Trump. The duo, along with other Trump cabinet nominees, recently attended the UFC 309 event at Madison Square Garden in New York. Along with the light and glam of the event, the netizens did not miss out on noticing that Musk was wearing a necklace with a symbol of the Greek letter Omega with an eye in it at the event. The symbolism associated with the letter sparked some chatter online.

The Omega sign, found in the US dollar bill, stands for endings, as opposed to the Greek letter Alpha, which stands for beginnings. Owing to Musk's closeness with the 78-year-old President-elect, it sparked a range of conspiracy theories on social media with one user writing, “Is Omega symbolizing the end? Elon Musk's necklace holds clues! The eye is surrounded by the end... What are your thoughts?”

Another netizen wrote, “More Musk Insanity, as 2024 continues to become more and more insane lately. The craziest picture from the UFC fight last night, was the Omega symbol and necklace that Elon Musk was proudly wearing, with the all seeing eye in the middle. Not sure if y’all saw it or not. Crazy times. They aren't even trying to hide who they are, or what they stand for.”

Another user came up with, “Elon Musk was seen wearing an Omega symbol necklace at the UFC 309 event at Madison Square Garden on November 16, 2024. The Omega symbol (Ω), the last letter of the Greek alphabet, generally signifies the end, the ultimate limit, or the "Great End" of something.”

Musk, the richest man on the planet, has been appointed by Trump to head the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), along with Indian-origin businessman, Vivek Ramaswamy. As the tech giant accompanied Trump at the event sporting the controversial necklace, one X user also quipped, “Elon Musk wearing the omega necklace. Wow. It's in your face. Elon musk is being called "the first buddy" wtf.”

Several netizens commented on the above post, with one user mentioning, “For real though! Satan’s deception in the USA PROBABLY, equally compares to the overwhelming vote results for Trump.” Another said, “Isn't it better they're in plain sight? Satan is gradually coming out of his closet. Evil does not hide anymore! If Americans can openly call for legalizing gay marriage, abortion, weed, porn, gender change, what's to hide about a T-shirt with an eye symbol?”

Musk has always shown his support to Trump and the President-elect of the US has prized the tech mogul in full. Trump said in a statement that Musk and Ramaswamy will work from outside the government to offer the White House ‘advice and guidance’, and will partner with the Office of Management and Budget to ‘drive large scale structural reform, and create an entrepreneurial approach to Government never seen before’.
