Deepinder Goyal calls it ‘the most important wearable ever’ – but what is Temple?
There are product launches, and then there are social media posts that spark immediate curiosity.
This week, an Instagram post by Deepinder Goyal drew widespread attention online. Without sharing detailed specifications or a launch date, he posted a visual of a device called Temple, describing it as “The most important wearable ever made” and adding “Coming soon.” The post also mentioned that a waitlist would open shortly.
The update has brought the Temple wearable device back into discussion, with many online users speculating about what it could offer.
In the image shared, a small silver gadget can be seen placed near the temple area of a person’s forehead. The design appears compact and minimal.
In the caption, Goyal wrote, “A wearable like no other. Follow @temple to know when the waitlist opens.”
The mention of a waitlist suggests that access to the device, if launched, may initially be limited.
Soon after the post went live, users began reacting in large numbers. Some expressed excitement, while others were curious about the concept and branding.
One user commented, “I’m excited for all this but how did you even get that username bro.”
Another wrote, “Temple by @deepigoyal reflects grace in its simplest form. A timeless everyday accessory.”
A third shared, “The one who makes it knows what it takes it to build something.”
There were also broader comments about the technology space. One user wrote, “World is rushing to build LLMs but this man has others goals ( this can change everything if it workout mark my words).”
Another added, “Temple - the body is the temple and the individual soul is the eternal God.”
While reactions varied, the post clearly generated conversation across social media platforms.
The Temple wearable device was first mentioned by Goyal in November 2025, according to a Hindustan Times report. At that time, he introduced what he referred to as the “Gravity Ageing Hypothesis.”
He suggested that gravity may gradually reduce blood supply to the brain over time, and that this reduction could potentially be linked to ageing. Around the same period, images of him wearing a small golden device near his right temple circulated online. He later confirmed that the device was called Temple.
According to his earlier statements, the device was being developed as an experimental tool to measure brain blood flow.
