Couple adds Amazon logo to their wedding mehendi – here’s the heartwarming reason behind it
Most love stories begin in college or through friends. But Priyanshi Shrimal and Rajat Verma’s story started in a place you might not expect, the office.
Priyanshi and Rajat met while working at Amazon India. Like many young professionals, they were part of the same workplace. Conversations at work slowly turned into friendship. That friendship later grew into something more serious. Over time, they realised they wanted to spend their lives together.
When they started planning their wedding, they kept thinking about how it all began. For them, Amazon was not just a company where they earned a salary. It was the place where they first met and got to know each other.
During her bridal mehendi ceremony, Priyanshi decided to do something simple yet special. Along with the usual henna patterns, she included the Amazon Smile logo on her arm.
It was not loud or flashy. The logo was neatly placed within the design, but it carried deep personal meaning for the couple.
A video of her mehendi was later shared on Instagram by Inside Amazon, the company’s corporate page that shares stories about employees and life at work. In the clip, her hand with the Amazon Smile logo was clearly visible, and many people noticed it.
Rajat also reacted to the post. He wrote, “Always grateful to Amazon, the place where I met my forever Priyanshi.” Priyanshi thanked the Inside Amazon account as well for sharing their story.
For those who may not know, Inside Amazon is the company’s official Instagram handle. It shares stories about employees, work culture, and everyday office life. The page is also followed by Jeff Bezos.
These days, weddings often trend online because of big budgets or grand themes. This one became special for a very different reason. It was quiet, personal, and meaningful.
A small logo in a mehendi design was enough to remind them of where everything began. Sometimes, that is all it takes.
