Donald Trump ally, and co-founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, was fatally shot while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University (UVU) in Orem, Utah, as part of his “American Comeback Tour.”
The shooting sparked national shock, controversy, and a wave of grief, along with debates about political violence in America. The suspected shooter, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, was arrested the next day. After the incident, Kirk’s body was transported to Phoenix, Arizona, aboard Air Force Two, accompanied by Vice President J.D. Vance, his widow Erika Kirk, and others.
