Carrie Redhead suffers from a rare condition called intestinal lymphangiectasia, which leads to the loss of proteins in the intestines. While many individuals with this condition experience normal reactions, Redhead faces a unique challenge with her intestines appearing somewhat deflated.

Over the past two years, Redhead's health had gradually declined, necessitating the use of a wheelchair. However, on the most significant day of her life, she made the courageous decision to walk down the aisle on her own.

The wedding ceremony, held at Faxfeet in October, took everyone by surprise, especially Joel Redhead, the groom, who had no inkling of his bride's determination to walk.

In a viral video, Mrs Redhead is captured rising from her wheelchair and making her way towards the aisle with the support of her father. Despite trembling and a few falls, she perseveres, slowly approaching her awaiting husband. The video has gained widespread attention on social media, with many applauding Redhead's courageous feat.
