​Young Bird Photographer of the Year- - By Andres Luis Dominguez Blanco

This picture has been titled ‘Perspective’ and showcases a Eurasian nuthatch climbing down an oak tree in Grazalema, Cadiz. Dominguez Blanco utilized a wide-angle lens and a remote control to take the picture, waiting patiently to capture the bird. He aimed to show what the bird sees from its point of view as it climbs the tree.

​Overall Winner- - By Patricia Homonylo

This impactful image, captured by Patricia Homonylo, a photojournalist from Canada has been titled ‘When Worlds Collide’. Showcasing birds that have died from hitting windows in urban areas, Patricia mentions that each year, over a billion birds in North America die this way.

Alan Murphy from the United States won Gold Award for the best portrait for his beautiful shot, titled ‘Winter Pink’. It showcases a Rosy-finch that was near his hotel in Alaska. He mentions that the birds were friendly, so he set up his camera to capture them before they flew away.
