Anurag Dobhal family feud update: Manager reveals family disownment, dowry case and slams 'clout-chasers' at hospital
Anurag Dobhal, the thrill-seeking YouTuber known as UK07 Rider, has millions glued to his high-octane bike vlogs and Bigg Boss Season 17 stints. But he has been in the news lately for a rather different reason - his personal life - ever since he posted a two-hour-long video explaining his deteriorating mental health, where he held his family responsible for the harassment, he has gone viral.
A few days back, his life took a dark turn when he met with a severe car crash while on a livestream at over 150 km/hr on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway.
Fans watched in horror as the 28-year-old smashed into a divider, landing in the ICU with serious injuries, just days after venting about family rejection and mental torment. His wife Ritika, eight months pregnant, rushed to his side amid the chaos.
While social media exploded with support, there is also a lot of skepticism about what the truth really is: Is his family responsible for all this turmoil, or is there another angle altogether? Many have even questioned whether the YouTuber has done this for publicity and views.
While people are speculating, his manager, Rohit Pandey, recently revealed some details about the background of the current happenings.
Anurag Dobhal's manager, Rohit Panday, clarified in a SCREEN interview that reports of his parents disowning him aren't new; they date back to last year, not the crash.
According to Rohit Panday, “I want to clarify that while it’s being reported that his parents have disowned him after this accident, it’s not true. This announcement came out last year when their relations began to deteriorate.”
He noted it was published in a local paper eight months ago after family ties frayed over Anurag's marriage to Ritika, whom they opposed. Panday added that Anurag tried hard to win approval, but the family ran the ad anyway, prompting a dowry case filed by Anurag and Ritika in response.
He said in the same interview that Ritika wasn't allowed into the family home post-wedding or to cook traditionally, leading to a move to Manali. According to Rohit Panday, “The family didn’t agree; they would rather tell him that they would disown him... We filed the dowry case in retaliation and took Ritika Bhabhi’s permission to do so.” This came after Anurag bought a Rs 2.5 crore property in his mother's name, which he later liquidated.
Panday didn't hold back on influencers showing up post-crash for publicity. He called out Thara Bhai Joginder and Tehelka Bhai, saying, “A lot of people would do anything for the clout at this moment. That influencer Thara Bhai Joginder got beaten up. He was trying to make a video with Tehelkaa Bhai showing how Anurag was.”

According to Rohit Panday, “A supporter is not someone who keeps making videos... Even I can post a video of Anurag, but I don’t want to do that.” He praised genuine backers like Mannara Chopra and Elvish Yadav while questioning where others were during Anurag's eight-month mental health battle.
Ritika, despite hate online, has been by his side since 6 AM post-accident. Panday stressed, “Anurag’s wife is 8 months pregnant and with him... She has been there despite her health, but she is still receiving hate.”
The March 7 incident saw Dobhal live-streaming from Dehradun to Delhi, accelerating deliberately as 80,000 people watched, before fans rushed him to Subharti Hospital in Meerut.
Panday shared he spoke to Anurag that day: “He told me he just wanted to get some air, and then he would come back. So, I agreed. Thirty minutes later, I saw he went live.” Anurag underwent surgery Monday night and remains in the ICU for severe injuries. Anurag reportedly said, “I am all he has because others are all doing things for fame.”
Panday further dismissed myths, saying, “Had Anurag done this for views, why would he be away for 8 months?”
He urged people to focus on Dobhal's recovery over speculation.
