Girja Shankar's emotional tribute to Irrfan

Better known as Dhritarashtra of Mahabharat (BR Chopra's), Shankar, who lives in Las Vegas (US), could not believe the news that Irrfan was gone. For him Irrfan was a fine actor and a great human being. They never shared screen space, but Girja remembers him as a thorough gentleman from whom one could learn so many things. "I remember meeting him in studios. He was a genuine human being who would stand and talk to you like your great buddy. We will miss him," he says.
