Watch: Title track of Nandamuri Balakrishna's action thriller 'Akhanda' is out

The makers of actor Nandamuri Balakrishna’s upcoming film 'Akhanda' unveiled the title song of the movie on Monday, October 8. The upbeat track, also titled ''Akhanda,'' has lyrics by Ananta Sriram, music composed by S Thaman, and has been sung by Shankar Mahadevan, Siddharth Mahadevan and Shivam Mahadevan. The video for the song features glimpses of Balakrishna’s character from the movie.
Earlier, the first track from the album, "Adiga Adiga" was released on September 18. Sung by S P Charan and M L Shruti, the melodious number talks about how a woman is truly in love with her partner. Apart from Balakrishna, the video for the song also featured Pragya Jaiswal, who is playing the love interest to Balayya in the film. The lyrics of this track have been penned by Kalyana Chakravarthy.

Helmed by Boyapati Sreenu, 'Akhanda' is bankrolled by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the banner of Dwaraka Creations. 'Akhanda' was initially scheduled for theatrical release last year, however, the release was postponed in view of the pandemic. The cast of the film also includes actors Shamna Kasim and Srikanth. The technical crew includes C Ram Prasad as the cinematographer and Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao as the editor.
