The lyric video of the first song from Karthi’s upcoming film ''Sulthan'' has been released. Titled
Jai Sulthan
, it is touted to be a foot-tapping number, has been written by
Chandrabose. The song has been performed together by Rahul Sipligunj and Mahalingam. Music composer duo
Vivek – Mervin
composed the song.
The song is a peppy number and also has clips of dance sequences being choreographed during the shoot of the film. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen opposite Karthi in the film. ''Sulthan'' also stars Napoleon, Lal, Yogi Babu, Hareesh Peradi, Ramachandra Raju, Nawab Shah and Sathish in pivotal roles. ''Sulthan'' is being produced by SR Prakash Bab and SR Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures banner.
The film is one of the biggest releases of 2021 and it has already created a great deal of buzz amongst the movie buffs. The film was officially launched March 2019 and got postponed due to unknown reasons. However, its regular shooting commenced August 2019 and it was shot without big breaks.
